Woman, Life, Freedom / زن، زندگي، آزادي / Mujer, Vida, Libertad is a collaborative performance with an Argentinian artist Florencia Montefalcone, created to stand in solidarity with Iranian women demanding equality. The artists use long strands of hair intertwined with crocheted ropes and stones to symbolize the weight of restrictive laws on women’s bodies. The stones are carefully tied and woven into the hair, creating a visible entanglement that embodies control, burden, and resistance. The slow, deliberate process invites viewers to witness the complexity of oppression and the intimate act of solidarity and care that counters it.
